two ailing grandparents, dogs, family fights, changed living arrangements, breakups and hookups, friends fucking friends, secrets, hopes, too much beer, cigarettes, longing, debts, looks, guts, trips, changes beyond recognition, long silences, dreams, headaches, plurals.
this year had plenty of content, not enough meaning.
