Darwinism, Hot British Boys with Guitars, Peppermint Truffles, & The O.C.

I have copied keywords from this post and stuck it in the subject line in what I felt was the most interesting and attention grabbing order. So, here goes.
The other day I was browsing the Internet and came across the coolest thing! If you watch the show 'Lost', then you know that one of the characters on the show, Charlie, is in a band called Drive Shaft. And well, if you don't watch the show, then there's a character named Charlie and he's in a band called Drive Shaft. I thought it was just a fake band made up for the show, but I found a music video for them. I'm really not sure if the band was made up just for the show and they made the video after or if it existed previously. It's hot British boys with guitars though, so does it really matter?
Anyhow, I'm telling you this story because the song is really catchy and I've had it stuck in my head for the last two days.
Went to the Christmas party at work last night. Good fun, good fun. Definitely consumed way too many of Jean's peppermint truffles though. And I don't even like peppermint truffles. Yeah, they were that good. So, lots of yummy desserts and presents. Turns out a couple of the women who work there watch The O.C. too [which I didn't know until last night when a bunch of us were talking about current TV shows and I brought up Krista's and mine CSI: Boise idea (It'll be the next big prime time hit, it will.) when The O.C just happened to pop up in the conversation], so naturally I started an in-depth character/plot analysis, as well as conducting the highly controversial Who's Hotter: Ryan vs. Seth poll.
Also braved the shopping crowds yesterday and I have to say, I now understand Darwinism. Survival of the fittest friends, survival of the fittest. I did buy lots of great stuff for people. I actually went shopping and bought nothing for myself. Now, if that's not a sign of the apocalypse, then I don't know what is.
Must go, as brother is threatening me with bodily harm if I refuse to relinquish the computer, but I'll post more later.
