Another driving-inspired entry

My History of Typography teacher once told us, "People don't know how to make left turns." Every time I make a left turn-or see somebody turning left-I think about  that. And it's true: most people make these crazily shallow turns-angling across the intersection instead of making a graceful arc. I'm certain he says this because he's a type designer, and he's familiar Bézier curves; I like to think that when he makes a left turn, he imagines himself driving around the bowl of an "a".
