And if you "love" almost every punishment being that of forced anal rape (which is apparently what happened all the time) and orgiastic displays of violence (I mean is there any way to convey that someone has had their leg cut off without showing a sword slice through it, the blood piss out of it and the person buckle over with his thigh sort of pushing past his calf - I think not), then this is the show for you. Also when the words "I want to see a Roman woman fucked by a babboon" appeared I literally heard the "ping" of "I'm done" go off in my mind. I think it has taken a little bit too much inspiration from Caligula and not enough from I Claudius.

I can only assume that my dislike of anal rape and dismemberment must come from my Irish side...
