a new addiction

shaky_sherbert borrowed Sims 2 from a friend of hers, and I down loaded it onto my lap top. I have wasted many a nights playing it. I really see how little of a life I have that I can waist so many hours playing god or fate to a bunch of simulated people. but it is like having a high tech doll house. it is a much better version then the original, and even though in this game your sims grow old and die, forcing you to have kids, they do grow up rather quickly. where as in the first game they stayed kids, but no one died of old age, just random stuff.
they fixed some of the crazy annoying glitchs that the first one had. no longer does your sim miss work cause their cat is asleep at the bottom of the stairs. sims can now pass each other on the steps. the pets look more real, it is more noticable with the dogs since they are no longer the same size as the cats. the dogs come in different sizes and actual breeds. and the cats also come in a variety of breeds. there is less variety however of things for the sims. and I don't have any of the stuff packs. but if I find them cheap, (or if anyone local wants to loan me them, anything before seasons) however there is some sites that you can down load different things. a lot of things need meshes, but I try to get the things that say base game compatable. shacky_sherbert has gotten a few things that need meshes but she knows what to do. I haven't bothered figuring it out yet. probly will some day..maybe.
still no job. been looking. but will be looking harder now that my grade has been changed. need to make sure I will get my degree soon. also need to spend more time working on book and less time vegging on games.
