uncle bill...
i'm very excited. when i got to gabby's today for bowling, i called and talked to uncle bill out at faith ranch. i made a reservation for us to go horse back riding on sunday! :) i haven't been on a horse since i was a wee one, and i don't really remember anything. i'm a little worried about how my back is going to hold up, but it's really a once in a lifetime thing. depending how long we ride, most likely it's going to cost us $58-$72 a piece. that's a lot of money, but i don't even care. i'm looking forward to it. we're going to be dorks about it too and go all out. cowboy hats and all. me, the non-hat person...this is going to be cute. hah.
and on another good note, uncle bill was pretty enthusiastic about talking to me about being a trail guide. it's worth finding out about. that would be a really cool job.
this wasn't my typical weekend. it was great though.
i'm crossing my fingers that we'll get some of the 6-10 inches of predicted snow tonight. no school would be great.
