Join in the fun FEAST on MAIZE (and other crazy themes)
Damp, cold weather getting you down? Come cozy up with us over a Scrabble board and some good drinks/eats at Kilgour's tomorrow night for Scrabble in the City night. Cool nerds to hang out with and cool prizes to be won! ;o)
Last week's gathering saw three more newcomers in Andy, Ollie and Deni. Thanksgiving Theme Word prize contributions included HEAPING, CROAK, HEN, INGESTS, BARF, FEAST, MAIZE and GRUB. Wow, you guys must've really enjoyed your Thanksgiving dinner. ;o)
The winner was newcomer Deni, who played both FEAST and MAIZE. Deni wins a Wordlock (a combination lock that uses letters instead of numbers) for her efforts.
Dale and Heather won consolation prizes for their contributions.
Tomorrow night's theme is still up in the air. Any suggestions?
We might have some cool new prizes from Hasbro coming our way.
