Last week we had a food Theme Word Prize, which brought interesting contributions such as ROTI, CORES, LOAF, SALT, JERK, FLOUR, FOOD, RIND, GRIND and DURUM. Even ORCA, WORM and CIVET made it on the board, but I wouldn't eat either of those.

Congrats to recent Scrabble in the City newcomer Jaqueline, whose ROTI play earned her a foodie prize: a fancy pack of jellybellies.

Tonight's theme is theatre, in honour of the
Dora Mavor Moore Awards, which recognizes the outstanding achievements in Toronto’s performing arts community.

I've got a new batch of Cheat Sheets, which contain all the important words to raise your score. That is to say, all the two- and three-letter words, as well as short J-, Q-, X- and Z-words. So you can one day play JEEZ, OYEZ QUIP XYST!
