Originally uploaded by Word Freak. I likely won't be around to open up and greet you all at Scrabble in the City this week (Monday, March 26) as I'll be covering the Scrabble With the Stars event for Torontoist.

However, you're still welcome to come and enjoy a game or two as usual.

And if you missed my photography show opening night last Tuesday night at Kilgour's, you can view my People Watching photos on display at Kilgour's until April 15.

Come and join us for some Sexy Word Time as we throw down some tiles, have a drink and play a game or two. Every Monday I host a casual Scrabble club at Kilgour's pub on Bloor Street, just east of Bathurst.

Join in on the fun and games, which usually go from 7PM 'til close to midnight. Come for a game or two or just drop by and see what it's all about. Throw down a few tiles as you knock back a BREWSKI or two. Play a theme word and win a cool prize!

We get players of all ages and abilities, so don't worry about how good you are or if you think you'll fit in. We get absolute beginners every week. I provide a "cheat sheet" of all the 2- and 3-letter words to get you going, and there's a mostly fun and social vibe at Scrabble in the City.

Join our Facebook Group in the Toronto Newtork on Facebook.
