I finally sold my 20 GB iPod and bought
The new iPod yesterday. Yay! Now I can back up my entire Powerbook on this little gadget. And take more of my pictures and songs and even videos with me. Hooray for Retail Therapy.
I justified it by giving myself a belated birthday present, albeit about six weeks late. But better late than never. Also, I figured that I'm getting a good price on my
eBay auction for the iPod Shuffle that I got free for doing Apple demos for the Mac-to-school promotion in September. So I'm a happy camper now. Until the next wave of techno-lust hits me.
Now I've got to figure out which of all my iPod accessories [Belkin Voice Recorder, Griffin iTalk, Griffin Lapel Microphone, Griffin iTrip, Griffin iBeams, Griffin PocketDock, Apple iPod Camera Connector, Apple (original) iPod remote] still work with this new iPod model.
It would be really cool to have an accessory like the PocketDock that enables me to use all my previous-generation compatible accessories. Has anyone made and marketed such a thing yet for the new iPods? I need a new iThingie!
Ah well. It looks like I might have to sell off some of these accessories too. There's always eBay. ;o)
