'La' is the abbreviation for the US state Louisiana, a musical note, an abbreviation for an element on the periodic table, and also a word in many non-English languages. I claim her (the word 'La') as my beloved and my favorite human creation.

(Incidentally, the name 'Lauriness' is -so- hot and starts with her :-) )
