Saturday morning
Good morning!
I've been remiss in posting lately. Have been more of a reader than a writer on LJ these past several weeks.
It's a lovely, sunny morning. Sat on the front porch and soaked up some sunshine (and vitamin D) and it felt lovely.
My daughter, two of her roomies and others will be returning from New Orleans sometime today or this evening. KareBear, Brenda, Liz, Beth - you and everyone else have been in my thoughts and prayers all week. I can't wait to hear about your experience. I've especially missed my girl this week. {{{{KareBear}}}}
A severe combination sinus/ear infection complicated by a CFS crash has kept me close to home for a few weeks now. Learning a lot about the need to honor my body's requirement for rest, quiet and healing, while trying not to go nuts with cabin fever. I'm a very social creature who feels the sore lack of interactions with a variety of people when I'm compelled to "nest." Looking forward to the day soon when I can rejoin some of my usual activities at church and elsewhere. Patience....
