update:
mark, the man who passed out in my bed two days ago, feels so bad about what he did that he got me an air conditioner. not a bad deal-one night without sleep for 60 of relief from the heat.
in other news, i am going around applying to part-time jobs today. b. seo says i should work in a restaurant, because those pay well. i dunno if i could get a job at one, but i will try. today i also plan to finish that new batch of proofing f. kotowski sent for me.
today i was woken up by my phantom floormate clinking bottles to take out the recycling and washing dishes at 6:30 am. i guess her weird hours are why i hadn't seen her until now.
the room is looking nicer, because on my way back from t. joe's with diana last night i picked up a coffee table from the curb, so now i have more surfaces to put my things. there is always nice furniture on the curb-i wish i had the guts to take more. in the future i will, but maybe there won't be another chance!!!
i have to make sure to come up with story ideas for my job. even when i'm not in the office, i should be commenting and brainstorming and proofing. it's a good way to show my commitment.
i'm so excited i have yogurt and granola waiting for me when i get out of bed!
