Pilot Bingo Drabbles

Let's All Be Friendly, G

Squished together behind ammunition crates, hiding from their own men in the middle of a mutiny; they stood together, alone.
“Remember when we were all on the same side?” he asked wryly.
She snorted. “Not really.”
“Yeah,” He said thinking back, “I guess not. Remember when our own people weren’t trying to kill us?”
“Vaguely,” She sighed. “Seems like everyone’s been trying to kill us for so long that I can’t remember anything else before all this.”
Leaning over to bump her shoulder, he smiled. “Least we still got each other.
She smiled ahead, the warmth of his shoulder was enough.

*****************
Didn't Need You Anyway, R

Fearing her wrath he rushed through the halls, eager to touch her again. He knew she’d be pissed that he got held up. She didn’t like to be kept waiting.
Pulling back her curtain hurriedly his apology died on his lips when he found her sucking oxygen, collapsed against the bed. Her top bare, her hand beneath her briefs. She turned towards him unabashedly letting her legs drop to the mattress as she pulled her slick hand free.
“You’re late.”
“I’m sorry,” He choked.
“It’s OK.” She grinned, reaching to pull him to her. “Turns out I didn’t need you anyways.”

*****************
Top Gun, PG13

He found her in the briefing room, silent tears running down her face.
“Looks like I’m Top Gun again.” Turning from him, she wiped hastily at the evidence of her despair.
They’d been frakking for weeks, but he was scared to touch her now.
“It’s OK to be upset, Kara. Kat was one of yours.”
Her shoulders shook in a vain effort to restrain her emotion.
“I’m not upset!” She lied. “I’m pissed she didn’t give me a chance to win my title back in combat.”
And she was sobbing and he held her while she mourned.
“Yeah. She always did enjoy pissing you off.”

********************
Admiral Cain, PG

Admiral Cain watched as they descended from their transport. They were obviously close. Standing in each others personal space. Head to head they whispered between them. Their bodies touching more frequently than necessary.
She’d change that. Pull their alliance apart from the inside out. She knew from Adama’s logs that they were both talented pilots, but Kara craved the respect that came from a Commander’s acceptance. Lee’s need to prove himself came from somewhere else. He wanted the approval of his father above all things. All little boys do.
She knew just how to drive a wedge between them.

*****************
Fight 'Em Till We Can't, PG

She’d always been a fighter. But that was before Leoben brought her to play house where there was no escape and nothing to fight. Where she had no wing-man and she fought alone. It had been so long since Lee hadn’t been on her six.
She thought back to when a drunken bar brawl was the worst of their problems. Surrounded by a pissed of group of marines she’d hustled in a game of Triad, he'd looked over and asked, “Now what?”
Smiling like a wild thing, she’d cracked her neck before stepping forward eagerly, “Now we fight ‘em till we can’t.”

****************
Gianne, PG-13

She’d found the picture in his locker. She hadn’t been snooping, just innocently borrowing his shampoo without permission.
“So she was like, your girlfriend?” She asked, leaning casually against the table.
“Yeah, something like that.”
Staring down at the blonde woman’s face, she pressed for more. “You never told me.”
Dropping his towel to the floor, he stepped towards her angrily.
“I didn’t realize we were secret buddies. Anything you’d like to tell me?”
Keeping her eyes trained on his, she just shook her head. “You should put her on the memorial wall.”
He snatched the picture from her and turned away. “You should put Zaks there.”

*************************
Are We Okay?

They didn’t speak for days, but they still wore each others bruises on display. He couldn’t see the purple marks around her nose without longing to kiss away the hurt he’d caused. The cut on his cheek filled her with pride that she’d finally marked him. Eventually they found themselves alone in the showers. Their bodies both bare and covered in the proof of their passion.
She reached out to stroke the yellow marks across his ribs. His sigh at the contact drew the words from her unbidden.
“Are we OK?”
His mouth fell to hers on instinct.
“I really doubt it.”

**************************
Razor, PG-13

“C’mon Lee!” She begged, wrapped in her towel ready for a much-needed shower. “I lost my last one to Helo in Triad and he gave it to Sharon.”
Looking up from his rack, he raised himself onto his elbows. “And what about me, huh? What am I supposed to use?”
“It’s sexy and manly when guys don’t shave,” she whined kicking the side of his rack, “if I don’t, it’ll just be disgusting.”
“I’m assuming you have something to exchange for this little favor.” He prodded.
“Yeah,” she whispered, leaning down to reveal unfair amounts of her creamy skin.
“I’ll let you watch.”

*****************
Lieutenant Adama, G

“This is so unfair,” he groaned as they worked the roster board.
“It’s not my fault she docked your rank, Lee! I never asked for this!”
“I know…”
“No!” She threw back, effectively cutting off his response. “You need to get over this. This is the way the military works, Lieutenant.”
“Yeah but. . .” He stammered.
“No ‘buts’ Lee! There are no ‘buts’!” She yelled. “And you call me sir!”
Biting his tongue, he raised his hand.
“What?!” She snapped.
“I was talking about Helo and Tryol…sir.”
Chests heaving in indignation, they held it together for a moment before dissolving into uncontrollable giggles together.
“Yeah,” she agreed. “That’s pretty unfair.”

******************
Till We Can't, NC-17

They weren’t fooling anyone. They both knew that Sam and Dee weren’t as oblivious as they pretended to be. But that didn’t stop Kara from slipping from beneath Sam's arm in the dead of night to meet Lee in the dark. It didn’t stop him from bending her roughly over the podium and taking her like he had any right to her body.
“How long are we going to do this?” He grunted as he sank into her angrily.
Reaching back to pull him tighter against her back, she just gasped as he bottomed out within her.
“Till We Can’t.”

******************
Memorial Wall, PG

She always knew she’d end up on that wall. It had just been a matter of time. A clock ticking away the beats of her heart. She’d figured it would be OK…once she was gone.
But she’d never figured she’d be around to see herself up there. Beside Kat, smiling and hopeful like a memory should be.
She’d burned her own body, why shouldn’t she visit its shrine? She shook under the knowledge that whatever she was now; she wasn’t, couldn’t be her. Nothing could change that . . .except his hand on her face.
And she was Kara again.

********************
I’ve Been To Earth, PG

He was panicked. She needed to give them more. He couldn’t protect her if she couldn’t prove it to the others.
“You said you’d been there.” He prodded for details. They wanted details, maps, something exact.
“I have!”
“Then where is it?” he begged. “What does it look like?”
“I don’t know,” She yelled back in frustration. “I don’t remember. I just know what it felt like.”
“What did it feel like then?” Please, he thought, something, anything.
She wrapped herself around him, holding him like her arms could wipe away his fear.
“It felt like this. It felt like home.”
He could breathe again.

*************************
FRAK SPACE, R

It didn’t take long for lust to outweigh guilt. The next night Zak brought them back together. The music of the club, the alcohol and their growing passion overtook them quickly. They danced while Zak talked with a classmate. Her hands around his neck, her breasts pushed tightly to his chest, all thoughts of decency gone. When she gave him a pointed look before sauntering to the bathroom, he didn’t hesitate to follow.
She was on him before the door shut, her eyes daring him to stop them.
“I can’t stop,” he groaned as he slid inside.
Her eyes sparkled, “Good.”

*************************
This is Not A Marriage, R

“Where were you?” He grit out through clenched teeth, watching her stumble in.
She giggled drunkenly as she struggled out of her clothes before collapsing to the bed.
“Out.”
“Don’t play with me, Kara.” He hated how crazy he sounded. He hated her for making him crazy.
“Don’t be so fun to play with then, Lee.” She laughed straddling his naked lap.
Stilling her hips he pushed for more. Anything.
“I deserve an answer.”
“Do you see a ring on this finger?” She asked breathlessly wiggling against him.
His eyes were pleading. “Then marry me.”
She just smiled and shook her head as she sank onto him.
“No.”

**************************
Missed You, Too, PG

He sees her again. Eventually. It takes a long time. A lifetime of exploring and rebuilding and hunting and planting. A lifetime of hard work in the days and quiet nights spent alone. His life a testament to his love for the people he led home. His time spent caring for them, helping them, making certain they survive.
When he slips away, it’s with a happy heart. He’s done his work and he knows where it leads.
His eyes open to her shining face, her outstretched hand. His long wait over, he reaches back.
“I missed you.”
“I missed you, too.”

*******************
This is Just Bending The Rules, PG

“It’s not cheating, Lee” She promised. “It’s just an un-traditional interpretation of the rules.”
“Yeah?” He whispered challengingly. “Tell that to Dee. Let’s see what she thinks.”
Rolling her eyes at his strict moral code, she sighed.
“Fine.”
“Good” he nodded, “No more counting cards at the table. Agreed?”
“Yes, sir.” She groused.
“Now go lose her back her socks.”
Stomping away, she called back over her shoulder.
“You used to be alot more fun before you were CAG, you know? I remember a time when you didn’t mind bending those rules so much.”
He blushed as he turned away and muttered under his breath.
“I remember too.”

*******************
Socrata; PG-13

Socrata Thrace had been a tyrant of a mother. Kara knew that. She had the scars to prove it, but she’d also made her strong. Strong enough to survive what she needed to survive. So Kara learned to forgive her. Even to eventually feel a kind of gratitude towards her. It took all that strength to survive this long. Kara didn’t know that she would have without the strength imbued by Socrata’s scars. But as Lee traced each mark with his hands and mouth, soothing away the memory of her mother’s lessons, though Kara’d forgiven, he knew he never would.

******************
This is Not A Marriage; PG-13

Undercover ops were never Lee's favorite assignments.
Kara was, however, enjoying their charade immensely. Mostly, he figured, because of his discomfort.
“C’mon dear,” she said loudly, grabbing his hand. “Let’s see if we can find those blue pills for you.”
“Gods you’re bad at couple-like behavior.” He sighed as she skipped them along the halls of the Prometheus.
“Me?” She laughed, projecting her voice. “You’re the one too uptight to even touch me. What would our therapist say sweetie? Your physical insecurities aren’t good for our marriage.”
“THIS is not a marriage!” He hissed at her.
“Oh honey!” She pouted, kissing his cheek. “You wound me.”

*******************
Grounded, PG

Kara was used to being grounded. She’d made a habit of being grounded long before she’d ever gotten her wings. She’d also long since given up following the rules of those groundings. It used to be sneaking out windows, now it involved commissioning Viper jets for unauthorized flights to the Prometheus black market.
Lee was breathing fire by the time she returned.
“Lt. Thrace! You’re grounded for a reason! What makes you think you can just ignore a commanding officer’s order?!”
Climbing clumsily from the wing, she just smirked. “Stand down Daddy, whose fault is it that I can’t stop craving pickles?”

*********************
Grief, PG-13

Losing Zak had gut her. The grief had opened her chest and ripped from it all the moving parts. She was thankful. Empty shells don’t bleed. Numb, she charged ahead, daring anyone to try to touch her missing machinery.
But he’d walked behind her picking up her damaged pieces and slowly put them back, piece by bleeding piece. The pain returned and she hated him, until she saw how much his own pain needed hers.
His eyes begged for what his lips couldn’t.
“I can’t rebuild us from scratch. Just let me help fix what’s broken.”
For him, she’d stand the pain.

********************
Dad, PG

They lay beneath the stars they'd given up, just watching, remembering the path that led them to this place.
"Remember when you kissed me," she asked, "after I came back from Caprica?"
He smiled wistfully at the memory. "Yeah."
"And when you said you loved me?"
He chuckled recalling her reaction, "Yup, that too. Still do."
"And when you said you'd thought about having a wife and kids and a porch swing?"
Leaning to press his head to hers, he whispered, "I remember everything."
"How about when I told you that you were gonna be a daddy?" she whispered back, her voice shy.
All he saw was stars.

*******************
Sky, PG-13

He caught her looking to the sky sometimes. Still, after all these years. She missed the stars. Her real home was among them, flying free. He knew it, but she'd stayed for him. Because he needed her.
Like so many other nights, he found her looking up. He gently reached for her waist.
"I'm sorry I took you from there."
Turning serenely, she just smiled. "You didn't take me from anywhere, Lee. I choose to stay. If I was up there, I'd be looking down here and wishing."
"Besides," she grinned, pushing him down. "There are other ways to fly."

********************
Hiking, NC-17

They were supposed to be taking a hiking expedition into the mountains to map the terrain and find some much-needed water reserves. They were supposed to be engaged in a very important settlement recon mission.
But instead they were frakking. Repeatedly. A lot.
And currently she had his head locked between her thighs in the throes of a particularly violent orgasm.
Collapsing into the soft grass, she gasped. "Gods Lee, if we don't find some water soon, I'm not gonna survive another one of those."
Wiping his mouth, he leaned back onto his heels. "Well," he drawled sexily, "if your thirsty..."

*********************
Childbirth, PG-13

Without the luxury of birth control, Lee had Kara good and knocked up within 3 months on Earth. She was not an easy patient. But even her constant vitriol about his decision to forgo technology and medicine couldn't diminish his joy at her condition. Besides, Cottle was still close enough to deliver her. Until he wasn't. She was two weeks early and he was off tending to some other the other dozen pregnant women. So they did it together. Alone.
She was not pleased.
"I frakking hate you, Lee Adama!" She cursed through the pain.
He still couldn't stop smiling.

*********************
Exploration, PG-13

He explored the slopes and ridges of the new terrain with vigor. He'd always been an explorer. And now that he had the time and freedom, he reveled in each discovery.
This day, he slipped into a lush dewy valley in awe of its beauty in the morning sun.
"Lee!" She reprimanded, groggily. "Stop that! It tickles!"
"Stow it, you!" He grinned. "I'm exploring here."
As she stretched away the last vestiges of sleep, he found even more to learn, new angles, exciting curves.
"Well, explore somewhere else." She begged, giggling as his fingertips roamed her sensitive skin. "That terrain is still asleep.”

*********************
Politics, R

They all knew; who was fraking who, who pretended not to notice, who minded, who didn't.
Zak had never been one to keep his favorite things all to himself and as long as he didn't lose them altogether, he was alright with sharing.
Lee wasn't. He boiled inside every time has saw Zak's arm reach for her. He'd take it out on her body later. He hated himself, and them a little more each day.
Kara didn't understand why it mattered. The lies. The pretense.
She decided that tonight, it was time to stop pretending. It was all just politics, anyways.

**********************
Zak, PG-13

She had fallen harder than she expected with him. Just this dumb nugget trying to get into her pants. Like so many others. It surprised her how much he won her over. He was always just Zak. Sweet and gentle and giving and easy. Just Zak. In the morning, when he made her eggs. In class, when he slipped her silly love notes. In the evenings, when they laughed and played and drank. She never hurt with him. Never cried. He was always just Zak.
Except now, when they went to bed, when she closed her eyes, he was always Lee.

**********************
Caprica City, PG-13

It was a big city. Plenty of dark corners. Lots of hidden places. It offered no end of spots for clandestine deeds. They were thankful for that because clandestine deeds were what they did best.
They couldn't stop. They'd both conceded that stopping was impossible. They were too entangled to dream of stopping. But Zak couldn't know. Ever. No matter the cost. They'd hide in corners. Forever, if needed.
Remembering now how that forever crashed when Zak did, she shakes her head in shame.
Afterwards, they'd agreed their penance would be to end it. It had suddenly become much more possible.

**********************
Drinking Games, R

Drinking Games were too dangerous after that first night. They begged off as often as they could, but Zak pushed. Eventually they gave in. Zak was good at convincing and they didn't really want to object anyway.
By the time they started 'I Never', they were all a mess of sloppy limbs and rosy faces. Zak seemed to be drinking with even more gusto than usual and looking back she understood why.
It had only took two rounds of tame questions before Zak turned to Lee.
"I've never tried to frak my brother's girlfriend while he slept a few feet away."

***********************
Pyramid, R

That night, he'll berate himself for it. But right now, he isn't sorry. Zak asked him to play, after all. He had tried to stay away. But when the pickup game was offered, he couldn't decline. He'd heard rumors of her Pyramid skills. When she'd joked that if he played any stiffer she'd start believing Zak's jokes about him needing to get laid, he couldn't help invading her space and lightly leaning his hips to hers. Her gasp echoed in his ears.
"Believe me, Kara. I could get stiffer."
She was still blushing when someone snapped their picture a moment later.

***********************
Lotion, R

Standing in her towel, still dripping from her shower she whined, "No, Lee...I told you I can do it myself!"
"Sure," he nodded. "You can do everything, you are Starbuck, super-woman and all capable goddess, but for kicks just let me PRETEND to help here."
"I doubt Dee would like that. What happened to not cheating, Mr. Morals?"
"I'm not cheating, Kara." He said softly, "Your hands are wrecked. I'm helping a fellow pilot."
Letting her towel flutter to the ground, she stared him down unmercifully. "Fine, show me how one platonically lotions up a naked woman."
He swallowed thickly, he wasn't fooling anyone.

*********************
Rough sex, R

The pain of their combined pasts misdeeds had been building for so long that they didn't have the control to be gentle with each other when they finally became lovers. They tried. He tried so hard to take her tenderly. He never could. His anger and hers stripped them bare of decorum until all they could feel was rage and lust. Pain and pleasure twisting together until they became inseparable. She knew she'd earned it and she took his anger upon her body without comment. Besides, she had her own fury to exorcise on his. She'd earned that too.

*********************
Cuddle space, NC-17

He could feel his heartbeat through his cock, which was still buried deep inside her. Or maybe it was hers. He couldn’t tell. He loved this moment. This short space of time where they were still connected, still one but no longer driven by their all consuming need to dominate each other. Relief, intimacy, love. It never lasted. In a moment she'd push him off and leave like she always did. But right now, she just held him like she'd never wanted anything else. He waited for her push for freedom. He waited, but thankfully this time, it didn't come.

*********************
Silence, R

Kara did not want to talk about it. Their situation was what it was and she refused to wallow in the discussion about why. How could it possibly matter now? Even as he snapped his hips roughly into hers, she bit her lip to keep the words buried. Even as he slammed her wrists painfully against the metal of the wall behind them, she fought to remain silent. Only as she came harshly around his rough and angry thrusts did she finally surrender.
"Gods! Uhnn . . . LEE!"
Relived, he sagged against her. He'd take what he could get.

********************
Flirtation, R

She could get him hard with a look. Across the flight deck. In the briefing room. Hell, even in the CIC. One measured gaze and he'd be gone, cursing and excusing himself for the nearest head. Her mischievous smirk, the way she bit her lip, the roll of her neck, all well orchestrated maneuvers to frak with his control.
"Kara, you need to stop." He begged, "I can't be CAG with a constant hard-on."
She just grinned.
"Why Captain," she smiled, rolling her neck as her hands traveled over her breasts to linger on her bared stomach. "Whatever do you mean?"
