Those were the days. I've been busy these last few months. I've paid off a student loan (two left though), moved to a bigger apartment with my girlfriend (2DK from a 1K, about 4 times more room), and recently I feel pretty comfortable. I don't feel stressed about money, I don't feel like I need a lot of consumer goods to make me feel great . . . I feel somewhat content. Yeah, bad things have happened like having my bike stolen back at the end of April, and having my seat taken off my new bike last week, but it's a small price to pay for this time of peace. I still have dreams of doing something with my life. I want to pass the N3 JLPT test this december, and eventually I want to become a real adult with a real job and a real life. I want to travel more, buy a house, own a car, have kids and raise a family. Does this sound crazy?
I've also given some thought to moving to a bigger city, but the current one in Shizuoka is definitely a step up from where I lived in Indiana before. Anyways, thoughts are on the table. Feel free to read through them. LJ is a peaceful little corner where I can say what I want without worrying about everybody reading about it.
