All those who oppose his shield must yield
Enough of the travelogue; it was nearly a month ago now anyway. I have a question: If you're bringing out a big-budget movie called Captain America, a movie about the most patriotic superhero there is, and you're bringing it out as a summer tentpole movie, what date do you pick? I mean, seriously, how do you not go for July 4? Yeah, OK, I know. Transformers: Bark at the Moon had July 4 staked out probably three years ago, and it seems to be Hollywood tradition (going back as far as Independence Day and Men in Black, anyway) to let the biggest gorilla of the summer call dibs on July 4, and everybody else stays away. Come on, though! Why not show a little of Captain America's courage? You think Cap's afraid of giant robots? It is to laugh! Cap beats up giant robots, is what he does!
