Bringing the corn (huskers)
I know I'm supposed to be thinking about the other sort of football today, but I need to make this observation about college athletics: As of this moment, the Big Ten conference has twelve members, and the Big 12 conference has ten. Teach that basic math, guys!
I need to make this observation now, by the way, because the joke may no longer work in a matter of days, possibly even hours. But that's the Big 12's problem.
As for Nebraska joining the Big Ten, I don't really have a strong opinion about it. They're a good program, long history, state school, and their style of football is generally compatible with the rest of the Big Ten. So I can't really fault their addition. Except...speaking from my heart as a Nittany Lion...I want Pitt!
Edit: Huh. Looks like Texas is staying with the Big 12 for now, so the joke stands for at least a while longer.
