My trip

So i did the last week and a half of warpted tour with my buddy sam and his band Dynamite Boy. It all came up very unexpectedly. I mean we had talked about it before, but never finalized anything and then on friday of the day that they are leaving he calls me 3 hours before and asks me to go. So i do. Work understands i think. We had a good 26 hour drive from Austin to Detroit. IT was gruleing but i got to know the boys a whole lot better. While in Detroit we go to this dude Nick from Mest's buddy's house for a party. THe house turns out to be the guitarist for the suicide machines'. Which was awsome. We got drunk i trew up. Detroit show was awsome. Made a lot of money. Watched the Vandals and Underminded. Next was some shows in Ohio, which wern't as cool. Stayed at some dude's house one night which was better than the usual sleeping in the van. My usual routine would be driving into the venue at about 6 in the mornin while the rest of the band is sleeping. Park, then go to sleep in the van until it was too hott to take it. Which was usually around noon or so. I'd wake up and go find the band's tent. We would sit around drink beer go see some music and then as soon as it got dark i would fall asleep in the van until it was time for bus call. No one was about to leave until a designated time decided by production. It was usually 11 or 12a.m. depending on how far the next city was. I would follow the parade of busses and vans to the next venue in whcih i would get there park...and you know the rest. Nino stayed up with me one night the whole way though. We had a greenday/propaghandi/tenatious D sing along. Tone of fun. Boston was the best. We really got ripped knowing that it was two nights there in a row and we wouldn't have to drive anywhere. WE started taking jagar boms with the boys from yellow card and falloutboy around noon. We were so trashed by the time the show was over couldn't find Nino and Dusty so we left them there and got a hotel. The next day was the tenth anaversary show, so dynamite boy didn't have to play, and i didn't have to work. THere were so many, rediculous bands. A short list includes Bigwig, Rancid, Sick Of it ALl, Strung OUt, Face To Face, Andrew W. K., Anti-Flag and on and on. Good times, i'm tired bed time.
