Sunday, July 10th @ the Poets' Asylum
This week the Poets' Asylum will host a Regional Slam. Teams from the Providence, Manchester and the Cantab will come to Worcester this week to show off their chops and get in a bit of live Nationals-style practice. It is a little taste of the fun that will descend upon Boston & Cambridge in August when the 2011 National Poetry Slam rolls into town. There will even be someone onsite selling passes for Nationals.
This is certain to be a fun night for performance poetry and we hope you'll be a part of it. Join us in the WCUW FRONTROOM (910 Main Street, Worcester). The open mic will start around 7:00 p.m. No cover; donations accepted to support the reading & help pay our "rent".
