White Lies concert

Last thursday, Therry and I went to the White Lies in the HMH.
For those that dont know them, the White Lies are n English alternative rock band. Normally they only have four members, but live they have another man on stage.

I had first heard about the concert on Kink FM. I had previously missed Interpol, another band I liked and I didnt want to miss the White Lies. Therry hadnt heard of them or their songs, but didnt mind going with me.
There were two support acts that evening. First up was Transfer. Never heard of them, but it was OK music. The second up was Crocodiles which I also hadnt heard of, but didnt like at all. Their music was very busy, as if they had tried to cram too many music styles into one song.
The hall was still rather empty during the support acts, but by the time they were done, it was packed. The concert had sold out and there was a good vibe. People wanted to see this band and were ready to build a (small) party.

We had managed to inch ourselves pretty close to the stage without being packed tight. With a nice view of the stage we could see pretty much everything that went on.
And the concert was awesome. They were playing with gusto and the mood was there. It wasn't a full blown party, but all the favorites were there in a nice mix, the light-show was good and the crowd bellowed all the lyrics to the popular songs. There was even some jumping and dancing.
It was awesome. Even though the White Lies are fairly new and are still learning how to play the crowd, they gave an excellent performance.
If I get the chance again I will definitely go see them again.
