Ben Lathan visited me at work today! We fed him well, and he should be fat now.

Had a pretty fun weekend, despite the weather turn. On Sunday, i attended the wedding of one of my childhood friends, Greg Sherman, and his new bride Analise. The wedding itself was at the Universalist Church, so it was interesting to see a different type of ceremony. We then made the trek out to East Aurora for the reception, at Ye Old Orchard Inne. It looked a lot like a bed & breakfast, but had a classy, old-fashioned charm to it. The reception was a bit different too.. they had a folk band, and since Greg is a big fan of contra-dancing, they had and instructor there trying to teach us how to contra-dance (All i know is, Magfest has a very different definition of "Contra-dance"). However, given the open bar, and the fact that Stephanie and I probably went through a bottle of wine or so each during dinner and desert, we had a hard time with it. It was still a really fun time though, and i was glad i was able to go. Joe is next in line...

In other news, I've been asked by Dr. Krohn if i would help out this year's SIFE team with their visual presentation, since last year's Powerpoint Flash display was so bad in comparison to the other teams'. While i may have complained a lot about the SIFE trip last year, i realize it's still an honor, and I think it's a good chance to use all the experience i've gained, add something else to the resume, and get some exposure for X-strike.

Feeling better in general lately. It's nice to be back on a strict workout schedule again. I feel better physically than i have in years, i just need to keep working on the emotional and mental aspects. But sometimes, you need to work from the outside in, like an onion. Seems like a lot of people are having troubles this fall of various sorts. Thanks to everyone who's been there for me, and you know i have your back as well.
