Well, I am now officially in all the schools that I wanted to get into. I am in The Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute, The Groundlings and Ultimate Improv. Reasonably busy school schedule. I actually have had a lot of different "ins" in the business so far, and it is really strange but I have yet to feel the real hold back of the industry. I am no star yet, but it definitely feels like Hollywood doesn't just kick you straight to the street so I don't understand what all those other actors are complaining about.
Other than school, life is going good.
I am probably going to have to get a job (Whole Foods didn't work out) but my parents said they might be able to afford to cover my costs for like 6 months so I can really get my foot in the door, but after that I will be completely on my own. It's a little scary out here knowing that I don't have health insurance anymore, but so far I am safe. Hopefully by six months from now I can atleast make enough from acting to where I will only have to be a part time waiter or something to survive with rent and whatnot out here.
Friends? Yea, still not really any. I just sit around all day researching and looking for auditions and whatnot. I have a few numbers from people that I have met while auditioning for classes and shoots and stuff, but haven't really done any "hanging out" recently.
All in all, life is going pretty darned good I'd say. I feel like I have definitely accomplished a lot for having only been out here for what, 3 weeks?
I am gonna try and get a chance to come visit Colorado in December probably. That would be awesome. I am gonna try and get back to Arizona maybe once a month or something, but the problem is I have class on the weekends now for like 8 weeks, so it is tough to find the right time to do something like that. Anyway, I miss everyone, and you should all call me. 480 580 0335
