Day 01 ~ a song It Just Won't Do
Day 02 ~ a picture - Beautiful Ewan
Day 03 ~ a book/ebook/fanfic - The Holly Bears the Crown
Day 04 ~ a website - Swell Season on Daytrotter
Day 05 ~ a youtube clip - this one kind of goes hand in hand with the entry above. I'm really, REALLY into Glen Hansard and the Swell Season. I saw them a couple of weeks ago in concert, and was FLOORED by their freaking awesomeness. I had just seen U2 a few weeks prior to that, and I can honestly say that I was 100 times more impressed by the Swell Season concert. Not trying to take away from U2, but giving props to Glen and his band. They freaking ROCK.
Anyhow, the highlight of the show was Glen performing Say It to Me Now completely unplugged. No mic, nothing, just him using that gorgeous voice and singing to us. The youtube clip I'm posting is him doing the same thing...to a crowd of fans waiting to see him. It's awesome. Dig it.
