"Ms. Andrews"
I had a really fun day today.
FOr my "introduction to teaching"class that I take at uwm.. there is also a requirement of 50 hours of fieldwork. Im doing my fieldwork at 56th st. School. Its on 56th and capitol and im with a first grade classroom !! TOday was my first day and it went really well. ALL of the kids are amazingly adorable. I just want to talk and play with all of them.. but i cant. hehe There are 28 kids. They called me "Ms. Andrews" and it was really weird.. im going to have to get used to that. hahaah! One of the students WIlliam said to me" Ms. Andrews your the bestest teacher". :)Mr. Smith the teacher told me to work with him for a bit on the assignment. I guess i... did good? hehe
One of the things they were doing in class is drawing a picture of a special time they remember and to write a little story about it. Alexis called me over to come by her to show me her picture. She drew a cactus and a sun.. and her.. and then she said to me" Im going to draw you ms. andrews in my picture I just wanted to see if you are wearing high heels" haahah omg how cute is that? She wrote a little story and everything. Jeez! we had to all sit on the floor " pretzel style" hehe and I sat on the floor with everyone while the teacher read. They all wanted to sit by me.. but that of course was impossible. I LOVE KIDS. I go back this friday for a few hours and then NEXT friday im going on a fieldtrip with them :) shall be fun
Well tonight i have to work at best buy.. and then if im NOT tired im going to go to three because Phantom 45 is spinning! I heart drum n bass<3
Thursday i get to hang out with jodi:)
Friday is nicks Birfday! <333333333
Saturday is nicks drag show.. and SHIT SHIT im scheduled to work... but im going to see if I can get someone to switch withme.. because that would be alot of fun
