So finally got an email back from HR today. Apparently the water-boarding on-boarding company needs more information that they have 'contacted' me about.
No, they haven't. They have consistently told me they called when my call logs show they haven't and emailed me when nothing showed up in my email inbox (even though I have received other emails from their company; it's not a filter issue).
Tried my 'case manager' I have called her for two weeks and never gotten anything other than a voice mail. Called the generic customer support number this morning. Got tired of being on hold. So they called my land line over lunch and didn't leave a message. I called back again this afternoon.
Was told:
- they have no record of our conversations last week regarding my degree
- they need a drivers license issue date. When I told them that the state of Texas didn't provide them, they asked for when my license was first issued. I pointed out I had already provided that information. They didn't have it in the online form I filled out and signed. So I provided it again.
- they asked for a drivers license expiry date. Again, when I told them I had already provided it they claimed it wasn't filled out.
- I asked to view the form I filled out again so I could, once again, enter the data they seem to be loosing. They said it was locked.
So I'm one week further along and getting less and less confident of these people as I go.
And they are the outsourcer my new employer choose. Great.
