First good-mood day in a long time.

1. My Fulbright Application has passed through screening in the United States. A commission in Austria now needs to accept it. What a miracle that would be.

2. I'm almost certain I'll get a position with the other Teaching Assistantship I applied for. If they turn me down, they're blind and stupid.

3. I got cast as the lead in the Carnival musical, "City of Angels".

4. I kick all my classes asses. I'm especially proud of doing well in jazz vocal ensemble.

5. I've been writing songs like nobody's business.

6. I'm playing these songs at a show in my hometown on saturday. I'm driving up to Meadville with three of my friends, one of which will hopefully play bass with me during the show.

7. Milton Redwine is being arrested. I got a call out of nowhere earlier today from a detective in the CMU police department. Apparently he has swindled a few other poor souls at Pitt and in the South Side (one individual for a few thousand dollars). I have a shred of hope that I'll see my money again, although I'll probably have to testify at a few hearings.

8. I have an enormous number of awesome new cd's.

9. I am currently jamming in my room.

10. I am frugal.

11. I will graduate, and most likely with a 3.8 GPA.

12. The symptoms of my colitis have disappeared, at least for the moment. This is a godsend. I feel a thousand times better.

I had nearly forgotten I had this until today.
