So. A week ago, I went on a stupid temp company interview. The next day they called back and offered me a placement. It sounded good, so I drove back to the office -45 minutes each way - to fill out the background check stuffs. At that point, I was told the job would start Tuesday and they'd call me.
When I hadn't heard from them on Monday, I called. Got told the start had been pushed back to Thursday and that I should call on Wednesday. (Today) Which I did, around 1pm. Get told they won't know when the job starts till the end of the day and that I should call back after 3pm.
I am so not impressed by these people. I'm also not terribly convinced there is actually even a job. Which pretty much makes me hate everything. Sigh.
