the internets is broken. at least, the important part of it. How is it that livejournal, dcist, paypal, and woolarina work, but not ANY OF MY EMAILS!? or  any news outlet, not that most of the news I'd read would be happy. (i've been in training the past few days... zero internet, plus I took metro mostly, so not even npr! I am deprived.)

my cable company offered us a month free of hbo, but... seeing as how we're leaving after next week... sigh.
