Ok this part is sweet I think. I’ve decided to bring the main characters closer. Enjoy…. xox
The next morning Ryeowook awoke feeling refreshed and happy until he remembered the last thing that had happened the day before. He turned his head and saw Yehsung asleep with his arms around Ryeowook. His face looked so peaceful and calm that Ryeowook couldn’t believe he had done those things to him.
After a few minutes of staring at Yehsung’s handsome face he lightly brushed away the other man’s hair that had fallen onto his face.
The action made the other jerk out of his sleep an he grabbed Ryeowook’s hand the darkness returning to his eyes.
‘Uh, about last night’
Ryeowook started but Yehsung curled his fingers around the youngers hair and pulled him in gently till they were lightly kissing.
‘Good morning’ Yehsung smiled deciding to ignore what had happened the night before.
Ryeowook stared at Yehsung utterly stunned at his gorgeous smile. This was the first time Ryeowook had seen him smile so gently and he really wanted to see it again.
‘You had better shower, I didn’t clean you up last night... sorry,’ Yehsung muttered the last word.
Ryeowook lifted his body off the bed. He took a step towards the bathroom, and felt the sticky substance running between his legs he walked wobbly into the bathroom as Yehsung chuckled behind him.
When Ryeowook had showered, Yehsung had gone back to his own room.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Breakfast was…well backwards for Ryeowook. He was expecting it to be awkward with Yehsung and all chummy with Kyuhyun.
Yet Yehsung complimented the food, and chatted on about anything that popped up in his head. It was the most Ryeowook had ever heard him say.
He only smiled and nodded along.
What really shocked Ryeowook though, was the boy sitting to right. The boy who hadn’t said a word all morning, who only stared at Ryeowook, who only glared at Yehsung, who only picked at his food as he was deep in thought.
‘Kyu, what’ wrong? Do you feel ill?’
Ryeowook turned to face the young master, his face full of concern as he brought his hand to touch Kyuhyun’s forehead.
Kyuhyun jerked back in surprise at the sudden contact. He had been so immersed in his thoughts that apart from emitting evil thoughts at his older brother, he had not paid attention to anything else.
‘Er…no’ Kyuhyun brushed away the gentle hand, not too gently.
‘Are you sure? You look a little flushed, maybe you should stay home today’ the gentle voice said, but his kind words just angered Kyuhyun who stood up abruptly and stomped to the door, not wanting to see the two together. Images of the previous night clouded his mind, that was why he was flushed but he couldn’t let Ryeowook find out.
‘Wait, Kyu. I’m sorry I made you angry. Please come and eat breakfast with us.’ Ryeowook pleaded. His head filled with confusion at the attitude of the usually cheeky and bubbly boy.
The younger boy had already escaped the kitchen, guilt clenched his heart. He knew he shouldn’t be acting this way with Ryeowook; it wasn’t his fault that Yehsung did that to him.
The regret of his actions was swept away as Kyuhyun set his mind on planning his revenge, planning how to steal Ryeowook away from Yehsung. He decided to walk to school to let his head clear and give him time to think.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Ryeowook wasn’t the type that would forget any bad event so Kyuhyun knew that he couldn’t use force. He decided that he was going to make Ryeowook fall in love on his own.
He hadn’t made the best impression so far after kissing and hitting the defenseless boy, so Kyuhyun told himself that he would not do anything that Ryeowook didn’t like.
First he would take him on a date, to show him how fun he could be. Ryeowook did seem like the type who would enjoy kiddy rides.
‘Okay, it’s decided. I’m going to take Wookie to the new theme park that just opened up.’
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Kyuhyun stood still, fists clenched at his side and teeth gritted together. The buzz of the festive atmosphere eluded him as anger washed over all of his senses.
Standing opposite him stood his older brother. The one person he had wanted to get away from. Damn. Wookie must have misunderstood Kyuhyuns invitation.
He had wanted them to spend the day alone, then perhaps go to a nice restaurant and then return home hand in hand, but all of his plans had been ruined by the presence of Yehsung.
He glared at the older man not too subtly. Even so the smallest boy in their group was as oblivious as ever, smiling happily at the world around him.
‘Ne, Kyuhyun-ah! Do you want to buy some ice cream? Ooh or maybe candy floss?’ Ryeowook chirped. He was happy not only that he had been invited to spend that day at a glorious theme park with friends but also that Kyuhyun seemed to have reverted back to his normal self.
‘Yeah, Kyunnie,’ mocked Yehsung, ’or maybe you should go to the toilet first, you know, so you don’t wet yourself with fright on the little kiddy rides.’
Yehsung was mad at Kyuhyun for trying to take Ryeowook away from him. He wanted to completely ruin the day for Kyuhyun.
The youngest boy couldn’t think of a response so he just turned to the shorter one, whilst ignoring his brother, and wrapped his arms around his think waist. He pulled the naïve boy closer. He knew Yehsung would practically have steam coming out from his ears at this action.
‘Ok, Ryeowook. I’ll buy you something yummy. What do you fancy?’
Ryeowook beamed at this rare generosity that he had missed so much. Still it was soon struck down when he remembers he was just their servant and he stepped out of Kyuhyuns embrace.
‘That’s ok Kyu- I’m not really in the mood for sweet things right now,’ Ryeowook said trying to disguise how hungry he was for a treat.
‘But please go ahead and eat something yourself, you too Yehsung.’
The brothers may be filled with anger at each other but they were both very sharp and understood Ryeowooks thoughts right away. An unspoken message was passed between them and they nodded at each other.
‘Well if you say so, wookie’ they said in unison before walking away in two different directions. Kyuhyun trotted over to the candy-floss stand and ordered one big pink one. Yehsung had strutted over ti the ice cream shop and got a double scoop of chocolate and strawberry with a flake.
They both took one bite out of their snacks as they reached Ryeowook again.
‘Ew, its too sweet’ Kyuhyun complained. ‘You have it Wookie, I don’t want it and it would be a waste to throw it away.’
Ryeowook’s face lit up and he took a big bite out of the fluffy cloud. A whole strip came off and he relished in the way it dissolved in his mouth turning from baby pink to hot pink crystals.
‘Tut tut, Kyuhyun, you shouldn’t waste your money like that,’ Ryeowook said in a gentle voice.
Just then Yehsung walked up to them with an almost whole ice cream in his hand.
‘Hmm, Ryeowook. I forgot that I don’t like strawberry or chocolate ice cream. You eat it.’ Yehsung said in a way that Kyuhyun thought for sure Ryeowook would see through.
‘Well, I guess if you don’t like it…’
Kyuhuyun just grinned and shook his head whilst watching the smallest boy devour his food with a look of pure happiness on his face.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The rest of the day turned out to be more fun then Kyuhyun had expected it to be. The rides were great and best of all he got to see Wookies scared face. The smallest boy wasn’t a big fan of roller coaster rides that have loops in but after a large amount of persuasion and dragging, the brothers finally managed to get him on the ride.
While they were waiting in line Yehsung noticed that Ryeowook was shivering. His small body shuddering slightly and Yehsung asked if he was cold. In response Ryeowook just smiled at him the best he could, although it didn’t fool the older brother who noticed the strain in the smile and the fear in his eyes.
‘It’s okay Ryeowook. If you don’t want to go on we won’t force you…’ his voice full of concern, a dramatic change from his usual calm and collected self.
‘Please, don’t worry about me. I’m fine’ Ryeowook said in an unconvincing tone. So Yehsung didn’t push it any further as Ryeowook was the type to push himself past his limits if it stopped people from worrying about him.
To Ryeowook the build up to the ride was excruciating he was terrified of roller coasters ever since he was in an accident on one when he was younger. The minutes felt like hours to him.
'Come on Wookie, pull yourself together. You need to get over this fear. The young masters have been kind enough to invite you and pay for your day here.' He thought to himself.
These words kept repeating in his head but to no avail. Flashes of fire from the track flickered in his mind. The smell of burning and the jolt of the carriage made him relive the awful memory.
He started to sweat so that his skin gleamed in the dim light and he shuddered as a cold wave rushed over him.
A warm hand on his shoulder brought him back to reality and he looked up at Kyuhyuns smiling face, his eyes silently reassuring him that everything was going to be OK.
'Well done Wookie,' Ryeowook thought to himself. 'You've made it on the roller coaster, thats the first step.'
He was seated in the middle of the two brothers who seemed to be excited and flustered with adrenaline. The carriage pushed forward and sped up as it dropped down a small dip only to be greeted with the sight of a long practically vertical track in front of them.
Ryeowook looked up at it and gulped as it seemed to go on forever. The shudder of the carriage sent his heart racing and the screech of metal on metal was accompanied by the not-so-smooth jolts forward as the carriage climbed higher and higher.
When they reached the top and the carriages in front started to level out and almost disappear from Ryeowooks sight he unconsciously grabbed the hand of the two men sitting next to him. He looked around at the sights around him, everything seemed more vivid and he felt sick but as his hands were squeezed reassuringly and two smiling faces that held no fear looked at him. Ryeowook couldn't help but feel a tingle of excitement start to grow from within him.
As the carriage dropped, Ryeowook scrunched his eyes so that they were shut tight. The gasp that escaped his lips was the only sound he made as his body lifted off from the seat and his stomach lurched.
He was left suspended in mid air for a split second before the straps on his shoulders pulled him down, down, down.
Everyone around him screamed in delight. The few who were brave enough even waved their hands in the air and 'Whooped'. Ryeowook on the other hand was too petrified to do anything but pray.
When the drop ended and they had finished doing countless amounts of loops the carriage leveled off for another drop.
This time Ryeowook managed to keep his eyes open and he smiled as the wind rushed at him so fast that it pricked his skin like a thousand needles of ice.
The adrenaline was now pumping through him and he screamed with glee.
When they had gotten off the ride Ryeowook stood still for a moment, too stunned to talk.
'Well? How was it Wookie? I heard you whooping during the second drop.' Kyuhyun smirked at the little boy who's face was a picture of joy.
'Uwah! I loved it! Again, again, again!' and he jumped up and down with delight. After that experience his bad memories seemed to have been lost somewhere on the track and the group explored the rest of the park, going on the most daring rides ever.
All anger and jealousy was soon overwhelmed by Ryeowooks smile.
