(no subject)
I know I haven't been around much lately, I've been doing most of my fandoming on tumblr, so I really appreciate all the birthday wishes. You all are the best.
We went for a picnic, up in the canyons south of Tucson. There were changing leaves. It was rather awesome and reminded me of picnics when I was a kid. We used to go to Colonel Dennings State Park and it was so much fun. I can't decide if I can justify splurging on a KitchenAid mixer with my birthday money (which will cover about half of it) or not.
I'm now 35. I don't know how I'm feeling about this occurrence. I do know that I had a bunch of goals, some of which I made, some of which I didn't. I've made a new five year plan with things to do before I turn 40.
To kickstart meeting those goals, I'll be participating in NaNoWriMo this year with an original slash fic. I haven't quite decided how to post it. tryntje is my nano journal from years past so I might try to post it there. Or, perhaps, on AO3.
