Gonna follow the crowd here and say that I went to see The Hunger Games and I loved it. My fave character was Cinna because my favorite person in the entire world is Lenny Kravitz. Rue, though, she was amazing, too. I've not read the books but I probably will after this. I went into the movie rather blind (srsly, only reason I went to see it was that it had Lenny Kravitz in it) so I didn't see any flaws for book versus movie. It was excellent.
In other news, I got reblogged for the first time on Tumblr for a sarcastic post I made about people wanking about how dare they cast Lenny Kravitz as Cinna. I'm extremely tickled so far. You can see mah post here.
And to sum up why I love Lenny Kravitz - this video (Youtube vid) of him finding a choir that was performing one of his songs at a fundraiser concert. He had every right to be a douche and tell them to stop using his music to profit but, instead, he stood there and listened. He could've been a dick and insisted on singing it himself but he didn't. He waited until he was invited up and then he took over the drums rather than lead guitar or sing it. In short, Lenny Kravitz is amazing.
Plus. His hipbones. I highly recommend you google images of his hipbones because god. GOD. Lick. Want to taste and lick.
