Moar Reviews! This time, it's all movies.

Pineapple Express. I liked it but I think I liked it more because of James Franco than because of the movie itself. I'm not one for movies about getting high (unless they have John Cho in it). It was rather lulzy and funny. I enjoyed it more than I expected but not as much as I'd hoped. 7 out of 10

Strange Wilderness Dude. Wtf. Srsly. WTF. This was horrible. Like, sporkable, the worst piece of drecky shit ever. I hated this movie. I LOATHED this movie. It was AWFUL. Do not ever waste your time on this. Negative a Billion out of 10

Tropic Thunder I was all set to hate this movie. However, I did find myself chuckling every once in awhile. However, there were just too many squidgy moments, too many awkward lines and too many unlikeable characters for me to like this movie. I didn't hate it but I definitely didn't like it. 3 out of 10

Jumper Oh man, this movie blew. And not in a good way. Talk about unlikable characters played by actors that can't act. Not enjoyable at all. 3 out of 10

Where in the World is Osama bin Laden I love Morgan Spurlock so I freely admit that I loved this. It had some flaws, some awkward moments but it did a good job on addressing cultural differences/perceptions in a cheeky manner. The crazy in this movie definitely came from an unexpected (for me, at least) source. I highly recommend this. 9 out of 10

Serenity Dude. Why was this show cancelled? The movie was OMNOMNOMSOGOOD. I have the tv show in my queue to watch because I loved this movie so much. Awesome characters, funny lines, brilliant acting. So much love! 9 out of 10

Assault on Precinct 13 Don't expect a lot out of this movie and you'll be fine. I enjoyed it because I wasn't expecting any sort of good acting. The gunfights were over the top and the acting was marginal. It was, at the time, exactly what I wanted. If you want some mindless violence centred around the New Years holiday where, basically, rocks fall and everyone dies, go for this one. 8 out of 10

The Prince and Me This one shocked the everlasting shit out of me. I was all set to hate it because GOD DO I HATE FLUFF. But, dude, this was cute without being absolutely brainnumbing. I liked it, thus surprising myself and showing that an old dog can learn new tricks. 8 out of 10

Soul Men I didn't think anything could top the horror that was Strange Wilderness but I was wrong. This one was just awful. I hated it. I hated it so much that I turned it into a drinking game. Every time something they did made me cringe, I drank. I was completely fucking wasted by the halfway point. I don't remember the ending. I was far too drunk. It was awful. Negative Infinity out of 10

Eagle Eye This movie was awesome. I'm fairly good at picking up patterns and guessing what's going to happen next. This one kept me guessing throughout and I couldn't stop watching it. I absolutely adored this. So good, from start to finish. The twists and turns were unpredictable and amazing. There was tons of show not tell, there was so much brilliant acting, the way that everything was tied in together was amazing. The subterfuge and the resolution. Holy moly, this one surprised the crap out of me. I didn't expect to like it, no matter one of my girl crushes being in it. Go out and rent ASAP. 10 out of 10

Iron Man I'll start this off on what I didn't see. I didn't see the slash potential here, sorry, fandom. That being said, I did enjoy this (another one that surprised me). I liked the pacing and the characters. I loved the interactions between Stark and his assistant. I thought Stark was, especially, well-played. I'm looking forward to Iron Man II. Fun and rather mindless. I liked it. 9 out of 10

Dominick and Eugene I don't know how this one ended up at my house. I don't remember putting it in my blockbuster queue but there it was. I was all set to hate this one because the premise sounds so stupid and, let's face it, Ray Liotta isn't the greatest actor in the world. However, I found the story touching and the acting was fantastic. Some of the movie is rather dated but I forgot a lot of it while watching. It's sad and depressing but hopeful at the same time. This is a movie with a very unlikable character (in this case, Ray Liotta's character) that you felt for regardless of whether you liked him or not. You still felt sorry for him even if he was a prick. 9 out of 10

Babylon AD Oh god, Vin Diesel. WTF. Stop making winter themed movies. Winter-themed movies require you to be clothed and able to act. Unfortunately, this is opposite of your optimum performance (that being - naked and not needing to act). This movie wasn't just bad, it was horrible. Not as horrible as Strange Wilderness or Soul Men but still horrible. 2 out of 10

Heroes (TV Series) Because this was like fifty billion discs of shows, I'm counting this as five movies. I'm really enjoying Heroes. I don't see why people hate the beginning parts of Season III but maybe that's because I watched the entire thing from start to finish and mainlined it. I didn't see a dip in quality of script and/or acting. I don't get why people are fascinated with Sylar. I don't find him to be all that super scary or crazy or anything. He's rather average for a villain. I liked The Man With Horn Rimmed Glasses until they emasculated him. I love Matt. I adore Mohinder. I loved Elle. I love and adore Hiro and Ando. 9 out of 10

Ghost Town So funny story about this one. It's on my tracking spreadsheet as "that talking to dead people movie". So I'm flailing about trying to remember it and I ping elanorofcastile with my flailing. I say "yanno, that talking to dead people movie with Hugh Grant". She somehow figured out that I'd actually meant "that talking to dead people movie with Greg Kinnear". She knows me so freaking well. I'm so impressed with her right now.

Oh and about the movie? It was funny and I enjoyed it so much that I snorted diet coke out of my nose. Diet Coke bubbles burn when in your sinuses. Just FYI. Don't drink and watch this movie. It's that funny. 9 out of 10
