(no subject)
Went to watch a movie on Sunday with my sister and one of her friends. I'll have a proper review of it later (probably tomorrow as I'm so beyond behind on posting my resolution reviews, it isn't funny). I'm still on track for finishing the 50 books/50 movies this year even with working assloads of hours.
Anyway, when we came home, I watched Newsies. This is such my guilty pleasure movie. The acting isn't all that grand, the singing is rather poor and the choreography basically only consists on boys groping boys, boys bumping chests with other boys, boys leaping over other boys writhing on the ground with other boys, and boys rolling around on tables with other boys. Though, there is the occasional crotch thrust at the camera to break up the monotony. I feel rather guilty watching it now as I was wondering exactly how the sister would feel when she realised that Davey and Jack were totally fucking one another when they were out "striking". They're still boys in the movie even if I would totes love to see David Moscow and Christian Bale snogging as adults.
Went to jury duty. Got picked. Went to lunch. Came back. Was booted. There is, obviously, more details but... the case had to do with child pornography and swinging and open sexuality in front of children and walking around your house naked and... and lots of stuff. So, I'm rather glad that I got booted.
Have been working and bitching about hours at Fry's to everyone. I have third most seniority and yet? I have the least amount of hours. Every single new person has at least 3 shifts more than me. This pisses me off. Thus, meeting with the manager tomorrow. What she doesn't know is that I've already talked to the store manager about the situation and if I don't instantly get more hours, she'll be having a talking to.
So, um, I'm sure you've noticed that it's, err, Thursday and no update on Memories as a Teacup. There's a good reason for it. Really, there is. It's just that...well... I, um, I've lost my thumbdrive. The one with the story on it? Yeah, that thumbdrive. I've been looking all over for it and I cannot find it at all. Thankfully, nefernat has a copy of the beta'd version and will be sending it to me tomorrow. Also, elanorofcastile has seen the additions thus I have everything. Just not in one organised place. So I'm not SOL but I am late. You may now being hurling salmonella-poisoned tomatoes at me. I suck and I apologise. I'm cleaning my room only to find the damnable thumbdrive.
