slashfest) of The MacManus brothers decide to hit the mob leaders that Billy Costigan has infiltrated while undercover. He convinces them not to kill him by telling them he's really a cop and they strike up a tentative partnership to bring down the Boston mafia. Connor/Murphy is completely welcome, I just think that Billy should get some lovin' too. Hopefully, I've succeeded.
They watch him through the window, watch as he strips his shirt off and then his pants. He bends with his back towards the window where he's backlit, like he's some sort of silhouette instead of a real person.
Connor and Murphy aren't at all certain that he's really a Statie but they're willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. It's not like they don't walk a fine line, too. It's also not like he's Costello, either. Fucking Irish traitor, preying on his own kind. Nothing worse than someone who preys on their own and that's why, after bringing down Yakavetta, the MacManus brothers have moved on to Costello and his thugs.

"I'm a cop, dammit!" Costigan yells.
"Sure and next you'll be telling us that you have lucky charms flying out your ass if we'd only just give you five more minutes. Won't happen," Murphy says as he presses the barrel of his gun against Billy's head. He hesitates for a moment, giving Billy an opportunity to interject again.
"Truth and justice? You're both fucking hypocrites if you don't want to listen to the truth. I'm undercover with Costello, trying to bring him down." Billy's heart races as Murphy presses the barrel further in to his temple. It's not fear that causes it, though; it's adrenaline. So these are the Saints of Boston and they're not quite as vicious as the media portrays them. He can see one wavering already while the other - the one with the gun - looks back.
He notices other things as he looks around. He notices the giant red six on the door of the loading dock across the street. He notices the way that both assailants smell the same, the way they move the same. He notices the tattoos on their hands.
"Fuck you, what would you know about it anyway? Fucking gangster that preys on your own kind, asshole." He's bounced against the wall again.
"Then kill me and watch the six o'clock news when they announce that you just killed a Statie. You think the police have a hard on for you now, just wait until you kill one of their own."
Connor and Murphy exchange a look and the gun pulls away a fraction. Billy remembers the way Queenan went out of town for a funeral and the way that Dignam shut him down and hung up on him. If Dignam isn't going to help and Queenan is unable to help, then he'll take what he can get.
"Look. I want this assignment over. We all want Costello dead. Might as well help each other out."

Connor and Murphy exchange a look and then watch as the light above clicks off, Costigan's silhouette disappearing from view. Another few minutes and they sneak in to the house. The cell phone catches their eye and they open it up and see a few names they recognize from their time in the station and working with Smecker. Another look and they trust in the Lord, deciding that the Lord sent them a helper in their mission.
"That enough proof for you?" Costigan asks as he walks down the stairs with a gun pointed at both of them.
"Aye, that it is," Connor says.

Billy's head bounces off the wall as Murphy pushes up against him. The alley stinks - that unique combination of rotting lettuce, trash, piss and blood that haunts every alley - but Billy doesn't really give a shit because Murphy's lips on his taste divine. They're hot and frantic, surprisingly soft and moist as they lip at his chin, his collarbone, his chest, his hip. The only reason that Billy cares about the stink is because he cares, peripherally, about what his bare ass is pressed against as Murphy sucks his cock deep into that wet wet mouth.
He moans and while one hand spears into Murphy's short hair, his other comes up so that he can bite his forefinger finger to keep from shouting out his pleasure. Murphy's mouth works magic on his cock as he sucks and licks at just the right places.
"Don't bite that," Connor says before pulling Billy's hand away from his mouth. "There're better uses for your hand and mouth."
With that, Billy finds himself kissing one brother while the other sucks him off. He can't quite believe that he's here doing this when he should be watching the warehouse across the street. They all should be watching the warehouse across the street. None of that matters right now because, for the first time in over a year, Billy finds himself feeling alive.
He reaches out and touches Connor, feeling the cotton of his t-shirt under his hands while he tugs it upwards. It's hard to concentrate long enough to fumble with the buttons and the zipper on the jeans but Billy does it eventually. Connor's cock thrusts out and Billy takes it in hand, gripping firmly at the base and then slowly dragging his hand up its length. Connor pushes forward, their upper chests touching and Billy's surrounded by warmth and, for a moment, he feels needed.

"Who is this?" Dignam snarls into the phone. "Who the fuck are you? What sort of sick shit game you playing, you miserable cocksucker?"
"Sullivan is the mole. He is responsible for the death of Billy Costigan. There is an envelope of information with Doctor Madden that proves this. Avenge him or we will." They hang up the phone quickly and exchange a look.
Murphy misses Billy, mourns him. He hadn't thought it possible but in the time they'd known him, he'd become close, just like Rocco. And just like Rocco, that closeness had gotten him killed. This time, they'll attempt to work within the system that Billy still believed in, even at the very end.
The news on the television broadcast Billy's fate and, more importantly, broadcast about the unknown assailant that killed Sullivan.
Justice. Truth. Saint or cop, they're values both are sworn to uphold.
As always, I'd love to hear what you thought.
