(no subject)
i have a newfound appreciation for showers right now. the hot water heater has been all fucked up at my house the past couple of days, so until tonight, i hadn't showered since SUNDAY. icky, i know. and i was over ben's monday and tuesday, which says two things about me: 1- i am dumb enough not to think of showering at my boyfriend's place when i have no hot water at home; and 2- i am a disgusting girlfriend for going to my boyfriend's house when i haven't showered in more than a day. so the guy for the water heater was here on monday, and he said he fixed it, but really, he didnt. then the guy came today, and he said he fixed it, but apparently it didnt stay fixed. so there was a really small amount of hot water, and my mom took a quick shower and left the rest for me, and let me tell you that was a damn nice shower! i forgot what taking a really hot shower was like in coldish weather. anyway, so my mom's pretty pissed that they've come twice and it hasnt done any good... so she's gonna totally bitch them out tomorrow, AND call the people that referred them to her. go mom.
i should hopefully be getting some more tutoring jobs quite soon. five in fact. and at 10 bucks more per hour than i currently charge. woop woop! so if all goes well, i'll be making about $250/week!!! which doesnt really seem like much, but when you consider that its from a total of 8 hours of tutoring, its pretty damn awesome. so i can save a bunch of money, and pay back mom for my car, and still have a decent amount of pocket money every week.
