today i had a new member education day for greek life, so every new member of every sorority and fraternity on campus had to attend this 3 hour presentation on drugs, sex, and alcohol.
during the alcohol portion, in the slideshow there was a slide on college students who have died from binge drinking. gary devercelly was the 2nd out of 4 kids on the slideshow. i threw my hands to my mouth, got the chills, and couldn't breath. i only met him two or three times, and talked to him once, but it was still shocking for me to see him on MY college's slideshow on alcohol. the people around me were surprised as well.
