On a related note, does anyone remember when a kickstand was both a desired feature, and an incluson by default on any bicycle you could find? Now, apparently, after forking over $425 for a "simple" bicycle I also need to cough up $20 for a simple hunk of steel with a spring. Damnit, if only Canadian Tire would make a bike frame my size, this whole bicycle shopping thing would be quicker, easier and more enjoyable.
