Then I think you should write to your Senators...California's reps are Dianne Feinstein and Barbara Boxer, urging them to vote in favor of S.450
This bill will require that all voting machines print a voter verified paper receipt so that if need be, a recount is possible (unlike Florida '04). (It entails a lot more...look it up if you're curious... www.congress.org)
