Pugs and Parties

Saturday morning was early as usual. Time for a fresh buzz to the wig. Then we had an early appointment to see the Vet. The kids got their shots and then, as we were leaving, Matt remembered back in January when the kids had an allergic reaction to their last distemper shot. So we knew to keep an eye on them, but fortunately no reaction. Maybe it was just the first time. whew! i went to the hardware store to pick up some cool edison bulbs and then we had a bear meeting that evening. i was supposed to come back for a leather event, but i just wasn't in the mood. Going out has become such a bore lately, i don't know why i bother.

On Sunday, we had our annual Show-Me Bears Membership Appreciation Picnic. But this time, instead of going to the park, the Crowne Plaza - where we hold Hibearnation - let us use their rooftop pool (who knew they had a pool? HBN is always in November, so it's too cold to swim) and concierge lounge for the party. We took pictures of HBN run shirts from the past to preserve them for our history. Hibearnation is gonna be bigger and better than ever this year! Sign up TODAY!!

After the picnic, we just spent a lazy day at home. The kids and i went and hung out in the backyard and i caught up on IG while Matt was inside prepping for the coming release of "Borderlands 2". That evening, we made one last run to Ted Drewes. The weather is beautiful and that means that fall is on it's way. Alas, Monday morning came all too quick and so it was up and away and back to work.
