From München To Weehawken

Apr 16, 2012 18:27

#photoadayapril - 11 - while it's not officially where i ATE #breakfast, i picked up some fruit in the Concierge Lounge to take with. i'm gonna miss this view. And since i was running out of time, i decided to see what was down in the Palisades Roadside Park that was down the cliff from where i exited off the parkway.

On Wednesday evening, there was a little roll-off party at the Pilsener Bierhaus in Weehawken. They really had the decor done right and it looked like a german/czech beerhall. Big liter Maßkrug's of Münchener Hofbräu and the softest, tastiest pretzels ever!

Benninhove's Hangmen: "creeptastic grinder jazz for the masses"; pretty much sums it up. The fusion-jazz version of Zeppelin's "Immigrant Song" was over the top. Most bands have a photographer - this group had a portrait artist. Weird.

Bier, brats, and good times. i hate goodbyes.
