Good eye, Jerry! i loved the work of Hipgnosis and Strom Thorgoodson (?) and that definitely was the inspiration for this work. i steal from the best! LOL

Hipgnosis and Strom made a lot of awesome album covers!!

So did the guy who drew all the Yes album covers.

I forget his name, but I remember looking at the covers and then making drawings similar to them.

Roger Dean! LOL...i remember telling everyone that the flying mountains in "Avatar" are a direct rip off of the cover for Yes' "Tales of Topographic Oceans". Cameron said he got the idea when he was 15 and that would have been about the time. That little stoner spent a lot of time staring at that cover. LOL!!!!

I only saw Avatar once, but yeah, I remember

I guess it's true- as soon as a great idea comes along, everyone rushes out and copies it! Heh.
