Pampered Chefs And Pampered Puppies
Our morning started in the backyard with the kids. Not sure how many more of these we get. i was in an off-mood, undoubtedly from a combination of work stress and those damn movies on Friday night. We tried to go see Mikey for breakfast, but no parking in Soulard so we went for polishes at Costco.
At Costco, i was distracted by the blinking xmas lights so Matt used that opportunity to put some ornaments into the cart. We then dropped by Lowes to look at fencing. Figured that as the kids get bigger, we need more advanced measures to keep them in the yard.
Our buddy Lance held a Pampered Chef party at his new home. Good food and wine...something different on a Saturday afternoon. i helped him do a little training with the two labs he rescued from the pound. We got some goodies too.
When we got home, i wanted to take a little nap in the backyard on this wonderful fall afternoon, but the kids were having none of it. Of course, they had already had their naps. Later, our buddy Jake asked Matt and i to join some friends from out of town to dinner. When we got home, i was just not in the mood, so i didn't go out with SIR and we were in bed by 11.
