Super 8 Pugs!
After playing with the kids, we headed out to see Matt's cousin, the woman we helped make a new start last year. While we were there, he got ahold of Mike/gearjock and enjoyed a memory over a friend who recently passed while i contemplated "scotch eggs". We were then off to deliver the goodies from our auction last week and got ahold of lil' Matt/directorbear and Hayden/haydenbear. They said they were going to see "Super 8" and we thought it was a good idea as we hadn't seen it yet and hadn't been to the Moolah in a long time. It's such a relaxing place to see movies as they have all these leather loveseats and you and your honey can just cuddle up with your popcorn and enjoy the show. It was created from an old Shriner's temple.
The movie was really good. A mix of "ET" and "Cloverfield". Plus, during the closing credits, you get to see the film that the kids were making. Pretty cool.
Afterwards, we met up for cocktails and to settle up. That night we brought Fred and Ethyl to the bear meeting to meet their granddads. Everyone fell in love with them. We wound up making $901 on our auction and $3250 for the event. Thanks Steve/rexsteed for your continues support!
