Puppies, Cicadas and Bears
We went and saw "X-Men: First Class" on opening day. It was a lot of fun and you do NOT have to stay until after the credits.
The Great Southern Brood - a 13-year brood - of cicadas has emerged in Missouri. One just dropped in on Matt's arm. We snapped these then shushed him away to enjoy his short time above ground.
It's Mr Heartland Bear this weekend and thanks to Steve/rexsteed, we are holding a silent auction to raise money to send kids with HIV/AIDS to summer camp. Heck the whole weekend is just an excuse to raise money for the kids, but if that means we have to have hot guys running around the bar and up on stage, so be it. WOOF!!
