it feel like a consistnacy of crisco mixed with oil. to my knowlege it has lanolin in it.

but to answer you question, defenatly grease and not polish

I'e been told many times that crisco mixed with mineral oil is great for fisting. I like JLube myself. You can mix it very thick or thin enough to be a very thin lune for cleaning out with. Also one bottle makes like 7 gallons

It's great stuff. Costs less then a buck a gallon. And I have friends that have made some pretty nasty stuff with it by adding other things. Clean up is really fun, salt causes it to break down fast.
