Pirates and Puppies
We saw "Pirates 4" and loved it. The 3-D was really well done and the story was sharp and cracking. Great! We weren't planning on seeing 3-D, but that was what was showing when we showed up. Plus, they had an "earlybird special" (it was the 10:30am show) so it was only $5 and that made up for the $3 upcharge for 3-D. Unlike "Thor" last weekend (which i later found out was a conversion), this was shot in 3-D and you could tell. And if you missed the other sequels, you can pretty much forget 2 and 3. Jack and Geoffrey Rush's Barbossa and a couple of the crew are back, but you don't need anything else. It's a totally free-standing story, new characters, great actors, lots of action and no silly romantic crap. Orlando and Keira Who?? LOL! Go see and enjoy!
We got to fill out Nielsen rating cards afterwards. i gave it a glowing review. i really, really liked it. Can you tell?
And now...more puppies. The Mertzes are 10 weeks old now. Sorry for inflicting all the "baby pictures". i guess i understand how the "breeders" feel. LOL. We're not breeders, though...we're "adoptive parents."
