The Old-Timey Ennui
i remember when newspapers were more black and white and people actually read them everyday. There would be a "special color section" on Sundays and the Sunday funnies would be in color and we would use it to wrap birthday presents. Continuing the "old-timey" feel, i wound up at the Hotel Minneapolis this week. It's a seriously old-school hotel that Marriott has turned into on of their "boutique" line and it's kinda cool. But you can still tell it's a Marriott. You gotta look for the charm. More on this later this week.
