MON/10:30pm PST - snoozy woofer...the chair beds were ok...but sleep was fitful at best.
settling into business class...acres of room, but weird recliners; dawn over Staten Island
TUES/06:45am EST - this nice Delta agent hooked me up with a voucher for a cab ride to Newark.
"Welcome to NYC", it says, and it shows an empty sky and a row of rotting tenement buildings. Sure makes me wanna visit. TUES/07:10am - Rockaway Beach
TUES/07:30am EST - the Verrazano Narrrows bridge
actually worked out ok. $15 in tolls plus $15 tip, but made it from one airport to the other in < 45 min
07:45am EST - EWR
TUES/09:00am EST - i thought ahead and packed some necessities in my carry-on.
TUES/1:30pm EST - Something you don't see much any more...in-flight meals; TUES/2:05pm CST - finally back in MSP, 13 hours behind schedule. no quality sleep in two days, but want to hang in there until bedtime.
