At 5 degrees, it was too cold to go outside and wait for the cab. So i kept an eye out the door. i saw a van spinning its wheels trying to get up the hill and thought it might be the cab. It wasn't, but there was my cab at the bottom waiting so i went down and met up with him. Once out on the main streets, it was fine, but side streets were still icy. Still, caution was our watch word.

They opened up a Dunkin' Donuts on the A-Concourse. i'm saving $4 every Monday on breakfast.

St Louis, of course, has no room to complain compared to the mountains of plowed snow all over the Minneapolis area. And with these cold temps, it ain't going anywhere except in the back of those big hauler trucks taking it out of the city to points unknown. i found a place to park on the street down by the Hipster Hotel. The meter was in a snowbank and even though it was 9pm, these guys are such dicks that i didn't want to take a chance. So i climbed over the snow to put in my quarters. i almost lost my shoe in the snow. *sigh*

OH! Don't forget! Tomorrow is "Santa Hat Day"!!!

airport, snow, cold, donuts, ice, dunkin' donuts
