The Only One i Love

Today was filled with tough decisions and legal issues. We spoke to the holders of the reverse mortgage and we have some time to dispose of the house. Matt's mom had already donated her body to St Louis University Med School so it was just a matter of dropping by St Louis Cremation Services and finalizing transfer. $528 including 3 copies of the death certificate. The biggest challenge will be what to do with his feeble-minded sister who's been living with her parents for years. She's now cut loose and we need to find her a place to land. She's thinking of moving to Arkansas City, Kansas, where she has relatives. That would be a wonderful thing. They've arranged for a memorial on Saturday at 11am at Geyer Road Baptist Church and Matt is planning on using it as a platform to show them that his being gay was a positive thing as opposed to his mother's constant negativism. i plan on keeping a civil tongue in my head which means i'll be surprisingly quiet. Once this is wrapped up, i'll no longer have to deal with these people. i'll always be here for Matthew. The rest can go to hell.

We're also asking that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to Project ARK to help our kids living with HIV/AIDS.
